SPC Flooring

Vinyl with SPC core board is particularly dimensionally stable as a floor for universal use. Its carrier plate perfectly compensates for unevenness. Renovations on tiles can give the living space a completely new look with little effort. The waterproof vinyl is the ideal choice for demanding room situations such as larger rooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, and conservatories; it also lends a special ambiance to damp rooms.

The special surface finish repels dirt and bacteria. Vinyl with SPC backing is particularly durable and easy to clean, making it perfect for homes with children, allergy sufferers, and four-legged roommates.

SPC has become the favourite of many amongst consumers for its functional qualities like water-resistant, non-reactive to humidity, anti-bacterial features, temperature resistant, etc. SPC is made of limestone, polyvinyl chloride & stabilizers, and is considered more durable and tough as it is comprised of multiple layers. SPC offers high resistance from scratches and the most important quality of having SPC flooring is that they are water-resistant. The most common benefit to this type of floor is it can be installed regardless of the substrate type through the click-lock installation system.

Carpet Tile

Carpets are typically made from nylon, polyester, polypropylene (olefin), cotton, acrylics, wool, and/or recycled material. Let's take a moment to examine a few of the most popular options when it comes to carpet tile materials.

Nylon, a less expensive option, is a polymide, meaning it's known for durability, resilience and comfort. It's static-free, maintains fibre height, and does a great job of resisting staining, all of which makes it a popular choice. Nylon tends to have a glossier, sharper appearance.

Polyester, another synthetic material, is also known as a less expensive option. A rather versatile fibre with a long history of being used in carpet manufacturing, polyester is generally considered to be a lower-quality choice, compared to nylon. Technological advancements, however, have increased the fibre's durability to an extent.

Polypropylene(olefin) is a synthetic fibre with an appearance like that of wool. Like wool, it's quite a stain-resistant fibre, but it lacks the same durability as wool, or other synthetic fibres for that matter. It's however, highly resistant to fading. Carpet tiles are generally available in following sizes: 50x50 & 60x60 cm.

Wood Flooring

Wood flooring is any product manufactured from timber that is designed for use as flooring, either structural or aesthetic. Wood is a common choice as a flooring material and can come in various styles, colours, cuts, and species. Oak flooring is often considered a form of wood flooring.

A wood floor keeps your feet warm on a cold day and cool on a hot day. Wood’s cellular structure creates thousands of tiny air pockets per cubic centimetre. This makes wood an effective material for insulation, more so than tile or laminate, for instance.

Wood has many advantages over other manufacturing materials. It is the strongest material in proportion to its weight, it is a renewable resource, and it is easy to work with. Besides these qualities, wood helps regulate indoor climate.

Engineered wood flooring consists of two or more layers of wood adhered together to form a plank. Typically, engineered wood flooring uses a thin layer (lamella) of a more expensive wood bonded to a core constructed from cheaper wood.

Porcelain Tile

Porcelain tile is made by exposing clay to searing hot temperatures — anywhere from around 2,300 to 2,400 degrees Fahrenheit! Unsurprisingly, porcelain is sometimes called a “high-fire” material for this reason. Because it is made at high-fire temperatures, porcelain tile is stronger than ceramic and can withstand more elements, which is why it often makes a great outdoor flooring choice.

Finished porcelain is hard and heavy like stone but also has some noticeable differences. For example, while stone is highly porous, porcelain contains no pores at all, resulting in superior protection against moisture and humidity.

Porcelain tile is a new variety of ceramic tile that many business owners and homeowners aren’t all that familiar with. It’s known for its strength, durability, and beauty and is generally thought of as an improved product over the standard ceramic tile. Even though porcelain tile floors are made from most of the same materials as ceramic tiles, they are made better and offer many benefits that other flooring solutions do not.

Features & Benefits:

  1. Water resistant
  2. Low maintenance
  3. Beautiful in design
  4. Excellent for high traffic use
  5. Wide range of styles
  6. High durability
  7. Simple to clean

Marble & Granite

Granite and Marble are 100% natural stone quarried from the earth, while Quartz is a synthetic man-made material made to mimic natural stone.

Marble is formed as a result of limestone that is subject to extreme heat and pressure. This combination of heat and pressure recrystallizes the calcite in limestone and changes the texture. Additional minerals create the colour and veining that can be seen in various types of marble.

There are many different types of marble that you can choose for your kitchen countertop, bathrooms, floors or any other home remodelling project. Common types of marble include Carrara, Calcutta, Emperador and Crema Marfil. Marble will provide your countertop with a smoother feeling than granite.

Granite is formed underground when magma cools, allowing for large crystals of minerals to develop. These crystals are what gives granite its colour. Granite is a very popular material for use in home remodelling projects and is often used for kitchen and bathroom countertops.
